Representatives of the International Biology Olympiad organisational committee sat down for an interview at "Delfi TV" to discuss the competition and what it takes to prepare for it.
Gediminas Beresnevičius, Head of the Skills Development Department at the Lithuanian Non-Formal Education Agency, and Paulius L. Tamošiūnas, Head of the Vilnius University STEAM Center, spoke about the preparation process for the International Biology Olympiad and explained, what the IBO is and why it matters.
The conversation covers the goals behind the Olympiad, how students are selected and prepared, and the role that institutions such as the Lithuanian Non-Formal Education Agency and the Vilnius University play in supporting participants.
